APU Jabber Messenger is an APU branded version of the "Jabber Messenger" from Jabber Inc.

Psi is a free Instant Messaging application designed for Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X and GNU/Linux. Psi is our supported application for Mac OS X, but is also available for Windows.

* Windows 98SE requires an additional file in order to use APU Jabber Messenger. Please download and install dsclient.exe before installing APUJabberMessenger.

** Windows 2000 users must have at least Service Pack 2 installed.

The above clients are officially supported by IMT for use with the APUIM service. Jabber clients vary greatly in features and usability, but any client supporting SSL should be able to connect to the APUIM service. However, IMT is unable to provide support for any other clients at this time. Please do not contact IMT support about any unsupported clients. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a supported client for Apple Macintosh prior to version OS X. Perhaps one of the Java Clients would work.
